First CRU of our Winery, produced from 100% Primitivo grapes grown exclusively in our family-owned vineyard in Contrada Agliano, which has over 50 years of history. Here, only the finest bunch of grapes are meticulously hand-harvested and then vinified using traditional methods.
A single-vineyard expression of Primitivo which perfectly represents its terroir and the ties with tradition; it is further enhanced by aging a portion of it for approximately 10 months in Terracotta Capasoni.
This unique aging process gives a distinctive character and personality to this wine.


TASTING NOTES

Deep ruby red colour with hints of garnet hues developing with age. Its aroma is rich and complex, with notes of black cherry, spice, and liquorice. On the palate it is full-bodied and enveloping, with well-structured tannins and a persistent finish.


PAIRINGS

Ideal with dark meat, game, aged cheeses, as well as classic Mediterranean food such as pasta with meat sauce or aubergine parmigiana.
